About Us:
The Global Electricity Services Company’s Training Department was established in 2021, to develop and implement a variety of training programs for the company’s employees, as well as, to provide Technical and Vocational training to local companies.
The training department also offers various voluntary programs aimed at fresh graduates in order to qualify and prepare them to enter the labor market.
The Training Department works with a professional group of local and worldwide training facilities and qualified trainers to share knowledge and provide high-quality, comprehensive, and professional training programs.
Vision:
- Expanding the scope of institutional collaboration between our company and its clients.
- Reduce the unemployment rate and improve the efficiency of national elements by increasing productivity.
- Strengthening the role of the Global Electricity Services Company in society by providing educational and training programs at the lowest cost and the best quality.
- Developing and implementing educational and training programs for both public and private sector employees, as well as fresh graduates.
- Develop plans for remote education for all professional programs.
Objectives:
- Implement the technical courses of the contract (2007/15)between the Global Electricity Services Company (GESCO) and the General Electricity CompanyOf Libya (GECOL) for Obari Station.
- Becoming a certified center to implement ICDL courses. (WorkForce -Insights)
- Becoming a certified center to implement Solar Systems Training Programs.
- Study and meet the training needs of the company’s employees and keep up with their development and progress.
- Collaborate with educational institutions to recruit new graduates as a form of social support and help them transition into the workforce.
Facilities:
The training department has various lecture halls, each with a capacity of ten trainees, and all of the necessary equipment, such as projectors and Internet modems.
The department is also equippedwitha full modern laboratory with a capacity oftencomputers, nine for the trainees and one for the trainer.
A solar power system has been installed in the last quarter of this year for application and hands-on training for the solar energy courses.
