Scope of work

The Zueitina station is located northeast of the city of Ajdabiya. The Zueitina gas station is considered the second in terms of size and capacity in the eastern region of Libya, with a production capacity of 570 megawatts, consisting of six steam units. The primary fuel for the station is natural gas, with diesel oil serving as a backup. The station was established in 1994, with four steam units, each with a capacity of 50 megawatts, from ALSTOM-ABB Company. The station was expanded in the year 2009, where two units of (Siemens Model SGT5-PAC4000F) with a capacity of 250 megawatts for each unit to support the needs of the public electricity network, in addition to the construction of several administrative and service buildings to provide services to the station and its employees.

The Global Electricity Services Company was established in 2001 with the aim of meeting the growing need in the energy sector, as the company’s scope of work includes the construction and maintenance of stations, water station analysis, and oil and gas projects.
