Nitrogen is used in the oil and gas industry to maintain pressure within the oil layer and to increase the extraction of the final product. Nitrogen is produced from natural air by purifying and compressing the air and then cooling it to sub-zero temperatures of up to -185 ° C until it turns into liquefied air. Separation of nitrogen by evaporation and re-condensation, and the final product is in the form of liquefied nitrogen that can be filled in cylinders or a pressurized tank. The project includes the installation of two diesel generators with a capacity of 560 kilowatts, the development and testing of the new Allen Bradley PLC control system, as well as the installation of the GFED-3 nitrogen production unit manufactured by Cosmodyne and includes the air treatment unit, distillation tower, air compressor unit and evaporation unit. Then connect all components with the control system and perform the operation tests for the entire system.
