In December 2021, a 1 KWatt Off-grid system was established in the Burj Abu-Laila Cross-section, which is notorious for being one of the busiest cross-sections in Tripoli, to install the solar system collaboration was carried out with the public services sector and the Tripoli Security Directorate, the system includes 8 panels (130 Watt), 2×2 Battery Bank, and 4 Light signals for the intersection of cars, as well as, 8 Light signals for the pedestrian, This project is a starting point for a range of future projects between The Global Electricity Services Company and the public services sector to contribute to the improvement and development of electricity services for public utilities.
