Global Electricity Services Company has won a tender from the Libyan General Electricity Company (GECOL) for the maintenance project of medium voltage transmission stations 66/30 kV and 30/11 kV, as a result of its constant quest to provide a high level of services and because of their From long experience in the field of maintenance and installation of substations. In 2021 and within the framework of the implementation of the project in the eastern region, our company carried out comprehensive maintenance works for 6 transformers in 4 different substations throughout the eastern region. Transformers No. 1 and 2 were maintained at Al-Fateeh Station in Derna, maintenance of Transformer No. 1, and 2 at Gamal Abdel Nasser base station in Tobruk, Maintenance of Transformer No. 1 at the Football Stadium Station in Tobruk, Maintenance of Transformer No. 2 of Qasr Libya Station in Al Bayda. The works carried out included comprehensive maintenance including, but not limited to, cleaning services and treatment of oil leaks on transformer bodies, treatment of corrosion and rusting of the main tank, maintenance of combustion insulators for power transformers, heat exchanger repair services, assemblies of spare parts and repainting of transformers and all its parts, valve repair, changing Replacing the leakage barriers of the transformer in full and conducting inspection and inspection on all parts of the main tank and the step changer. Several tests were also conducted to ensure the safety of operation, and finally included civil services for the rehabilitation of transformers and stations.
