Natural gas to Sarir power station is being transferred through a 20-inch pipeline from 103 field of Zueitina Company along a 187 K.M to the power station. Due to the in-complete gas facility of 103 field, natural gas from Elfaregh field of Waha Co. has been used as an alternative source of natural gas through a 20-inch pipeline section (7 K.M) connected the mainline. At Sarir PP, a Natural gas reducing and metering systems (GRMS) is necessary to maintain natural gas parameters at such level where to be compatible with power turbine units requirements, and therefore, GESCO has achieved the supply, installation and commissioning of a new Gas reducing and metering system for that purpose.
