Scope of work

Light fuel tank No. (1) in the Zueitina station, with a capacity of 15,000 cubic meters, which is used to store the fuel for the current and new gas turbines (2 x 285 megawatts) in the station. From the tank structure and the collapse of its roof and damage to its equipment and accessories such as pipes, fire-fighting systems, measuring systems, etc., the damage reached even its protective concrete wall. Based on the agreement between the General Electricity Company and the Global Electricity Services Company, the company assumed the task of removing the damaged fuel tank and installing a new one with the same specifications. The task was implemented in several stages, as follows: Removing the remaining fuel in the tank, removing the damaged tank, detecting the concrete base, designing, supplying, and installing the tank New, running tests, and then delivering.
