As part of the implementation of the medium voltage transformer maintenance project for the eastern region, Global Electricity Services Company carried out the necessary maintenance work for the problems experienced by each of the power transformers No. (1 and 2) of the type (PARSONS PEEBLES) with a capacity of MVA5, which is located at the Al-Fateeh substation with voltage 30/11 kV from oil leaks, and other problems. The works provided included integrated maintenance, including but not limited to services such as finishing, cleaning, and treating corrosion and rust of the main tank, treating coolants and transformer accessories such as combustion insulators and valves, changing and replacing leakage arresters for the entire transformer, making inspections on all parts of the main tank and the step changer. Several tests are also conducted to ensure the safety of operation, and restoration and civil maintenance work for the station.
