GESCO Projects and Activities

The station is located in Al-Sabri area, and it feeds the project of the Tourist Regency Hotel and Al-Sabri neighborhood. The station consists of (2) 30/11 kV transformers, (11) cells with a voltage of 11 kV, and (9) cells with a voltage of 30 kV. In the previous armed clashes, the station was damaged in the cell building, which led to the damage of some cells and the burning of the building from the inside, and the station became a garbage dump and exposed to any fires that could happen, God forbid and cause damage to the station’s equipment. Thus, Jesco was in charge of the maintenance of power transformer No. 1, and civil maintenance A work scope for the station has been prepared and works will start on 12/18/2021 The maintenance works carried out are as follows: • Comprehensive maintenance works for Transformer No. (1) • Cleaning and site preparation works. • Maintenance work on the roof of the station building • Plastering works for the external walls of the station building • Maintenance and painting of the station building from the inside • Installation of windows for the station building • Construction of a cement brick wall around the station • External painting works for the station. • Lighting works for the station.
